Dear Sir,

I am Agronomist working at NGO. The project also include the cultivation of straw mushroom for the Home Gardening beneficiaries. The area is Dry Zone and water is scared, high pH. I have a plan to use rain water for cultivation.
I would like to know that the soil quality can affect the yield.
I had tried one trial in this area. First time of harvest got 2 kg and the small size of mushrooms still left. I apply water at that time. On the next days I haven’t found the mushroom.
I have used cowdung, woven paper, chickpea husks and rice bran for cultivation. What’s the problem I have faced with. Please tell me your suggestions and guide line for me.
